As we consider praying for a particular request, we might be less hesitant if we would remember we serve a God of love who has filled the Bible with promises to encourage us and give us hope.  We serve a Father Who desires to bestow good gifts upon His children. He desires that our joy be full.

Answers to prayer are not dependent upon our feelings; they are based upon the trustworthiness of our Savior. His word is sure.
