One of the greatest privileges given us is the privilege of prayer, the privilege of living in companionship with God. In the Holy Scriptures He has invited us ‘to come boldly’ into His presence. This invitation was given by the sacrifice of Jesus, who covers us with His robe of righteousness, and enables us to come before the Father. Jesus’ name opens the throne room of the universe.

Prayer is a special mode of communication that has been provided for our frequent use. At no additional charge we can take advantage of this opportunity anytime, day or night, wherever our location. No special equipment is required. Effective communication that builds this relationship does, however, have some requirements that must be met in order for us to make contact or expect to receive a response. These ‘requirements’ we will study throughout the book – “Living Volume One – Praying in the “YES” of God“.
