While there is a method outlined in scripture, in the study of the sanctuary model, in the Lord’s Prayer, and In Jesus’ last prayer recorded in John 17, prayer in actuality is simply sharing from our heart… God longs for us to share the depths of our heart with Him. Our innermost thoughts, hurts, joys, wants, and needs, can be opened in complete surrender to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Beginning with praise to the Lord for who He is, and ending with a moment of thanksgiving for what God has done and will do, expands our scope of His characteristics and confirms our faith. I believe that God cherishes personal, informal, wholehearted prayers where we express ourselves openly. (Praying in the “YES” of God – page 41)
